This stunning Ferns of Great Britain tea towel was assembled from the publication 'The flowering plants, grasses, sedges, & ferns of Great Britain' published between 1855 and 1873 by the botanical and ornithological illustrator Anne Pratt.
Her works helped popularise botany during the Victorian era due to her accessible, but accurate, style of writing.
Although popular, her works never gained the status of other artists' works due to the establishment's disdain for her being self taught.
Designed and made in the UK using digital printing on 100% cotton.
